FACULTY
What
keeps KSIT in the favourite list is its pedagogy and the faculty.
Adherence to the prescribed syllabus apart, the students are encouraged
by the highly motivated teaching faculty to innovate, experience
and excel in every aspect of the subject. The faculty at KSIT are
thus a highly charged team of eminent persons. They are constantly
encouraged to update their knowledge and teaching skills by sponsoring
them for advanced academic programmes such as Seminars, Workshops,
Symposiums etc. As an illustration, the Computer Science faculty
were specially trained on latest technologies directly from Microsoft
on NET and DB2 of IBM.
The Mechanical Engineering Department has staff who are highly qualified
with post graduate and doctoral degree specialised in Design, Production,
Thermal and Management Engineering areas.
The Electronics and Telecommunication Departments have teachers
who have specialisations in the such practical areas as DSP, OOPS,
JAVA, VLSI,VHDL, etc.
For a young college, KSIT has been able to attract the best teaching
talent and today has over half of its staff who have over a decade
of industry/teaching experience. Teaming up with the younger teachers,
together they form a powerful synergy of experience and need.
